“Motionless Requiem” from Phédia Mazuc, reveals a sculptural nature frozen in the moment, with impassible trees anchored in majestic, almost theatrical positions.
Materialized by shadows and lights, colors both pale and dark, and textured backgrounds, the elements come off in a solemn athmosphere, than can be serious, but never worrying.
With this exhibition Phédia takes us halfway between color and black and white, spontaneity and mise-en-scene, photography and painting.
