The big island reveals the incredible richness of its natural elements. Margo Ryan likes to focus on people, constantly looking for that revealing portrait or witnessing the simple everyday life events trying to convey the emotion of places and people and record it candidly with the use of ambient light.
With a particular penchant for vertical lines, the photographer likes to play with natural light to upset the scales of magnitudes. She enjoys reflections in the water, silhouettes, contours, and shadows that sometimes relegate the subject itself to the background.
Margo Ryan is from London and lives in Italy. Her passion for travel has taken her to every corner of the world, and she has won several international photography awards.
